All roads lead to Rome...and then you need a boat


Overview:


Very tough fight in this mission. In air and on the ground.
We lost 14 planes more than Axis (27/41).
Also, we suffered quite a lot of armor losses, 25 comparing to Axis 10. But no worries, medic crew is on the way













Our pilots were very concentrated to fulfill given tasks so no wonder that our loses were higher this time.


We actually did almost almost everything we planned to do. Our forces enters in Rome.

Rome 2/3 done, Rome rail station captured, Rome radar gone, Napoli N-NW clean, Sora and Gaeta CPa captured, preparation for closing Pomezia and Rome airfields done.

Even on Frosinone AF south entrance was cracked by our forces and now we have a way in. Jerry's said thanks for the roses...we'll send

Enemy probably towed something over Rome CP after our tanks went trough area so the control point itself was not captured this time.



Royal Navy and Uncle Sam's destroyers, with pleasure, sunk 3 Axis subs and one destroyer.

Now, boys, take the extra pair of boots and socks 'cause winter is coming.
Next mission date 31.1.1944.

...and we have a celebration moment

Our pilots IAF.ViFF, 102nd-YU-Mornar and Munster are becoming air ACEs in this campaign for destroying 5 enemy aircrafts!

Also our pilots =VARP=Dragunov became an ground ACE for destroying 46 ground targets!
