Der Würger. The sole radial-engined fighter type of WW2 Germany. Early models were known for a horrendously high roll rate, rather good acceleration, and large amount of firepower. To their pilots, it was wonderfully a forgiving aircraft that had only two vices. Unfortunately, one of those vices resulted in the deaths of many pilots. At low to mid altitudes it was a very real threat to be handled carefully, for many a Spit pilot found themselves chasing a ghost at times. Using that terrific roll rate to their advantage, a pilot could pull a split-S before anyone knew what happened. Feel up to tackling the infamous Butcher Bird?
