Mission Overview:

Looks like we predicted good that Axis will try to evacuate as many units as possible from the islands. We confirmed 7 ships sail away and 4 of which were destroyed. Judging by their course they were all headed to Napoli. Some pretty good amount of potential VPs was taken from axis by preventing this forces to reach mainland. And we don't need to fight against them on the mainland.

Unfortunately, we came too late to destroy panzers and Italian forces were destroyed at Olbia. In Porto Vecchio, enemy was much stronger than our forces so there was no way to capture the port.
Howeve4,one Italian attack was successful over there and they captured Bastia airfield.
It is visible from MP that some limited attack was tried against Salerno beachead, but with very small amount of forces. More like a probing than a serious attack. They also made attempts in two directions towards Scalea and toward Taranto which was nice try btw. Both were stop at first or second line. At least what we can see in MP.
The thing i don't like are 2 question marks in Taranto harbor. We have guests! Those can be only MTB501 or subs. Pilots train anti sub attack with bombers. MTB501 can be done with 20mm or rockets.
Our second landing wave has reached the Napoli harbor, has captured seabase and wipe out serious number of forces in the city. One of two recons has brought the pictures back home and now we know what is there.

All of our groups had successfully completed their missions.
