5x LaGG-3 - Jabo - Rockets - EAF Squadron

1x I-16 type 24 - Jabo (DT + Rockets) - EAF Squadron

4x I-16 SPB - Jabo (2xFAB250) - 2x from IAF + 2x from EAF Squadrons

10x MiG-3 UD - Top Cover - Gun pods - 4x from 102nd + 6x from EAF51 Squadrons

Uross, this mission will be your revenge on the Bf109s

NOTE: This is just a preliminary aircraft allocation to assist the planning process

Ok guys the mission is planned

Target is Klin, we will attack this airfield with jabos and paratroopers

This is a big one and a long time coming
HQ members have been itching to have a bash at Klin for several missions and here it is
We have taken several missions to prepare for this assault but the pieces are in place
The paratroopers are pumped and ready to go and planes are armed and fuelled

Give it your best gents show the axis forces what we are made of


We have 40 seats, the Luftwaffe has only 35 seats, so we have the advantage in numbers
Lets make it count

2x TB-3 - 39th BAP 2 1 + 39th BAP 2 2 - Paratrooper drop @ Klin Airfield (BH29) - IAF Squadron

Take off from Dmitrov (BM29) and hold low at the airfield relying on flak for protection
when the jabos attack Klin you make your move aiming to drop paratroopers on the runway then
Both of these aircraft are packed with paratroopers carrying two full strength platoons each
after the drop RTB to Gary




2x Li-2 - 432nd AP DD 1 4 + 432nd AP DD 2 1 - Paratrooper drop @ Klin Airfield (BH29) - 102nd Squadron

Take off from Ramenskoye (BQ20) and head for Dmitrov to link up with the TB3's
When the jabos begin their attack you make your move aiming to drop paratroopers on the runway at Klin
These aircraft are carrying the specialist airborne infantry including mortar teams and officers
After the drop RTB to Gary




4xYak-1 - Escort - IAF Squadron

Take off from Dmitrov (BM29) and head direct for Klin (BH29) in an offensive sweep
Do not get too close or slow over the airfield as the flak is heavy
Our attack planes will approach from the north-east
When they arrive if you are not engaged with enemy fighters attempt to drag the flak
Land at Dmitrov



4xMiG-3 UD - Escort - EAF51 Squadron

Take off from Dmitrov (BM29) and head direct for Klin (BH29) in an offensive sweep covering the IAF Yaks
Land at Dmitrov.



5x LaGG-3 - Jabo - 8x RS82 rockets
1x I-16 Type 24 - Jabo - DT + 6x RS82 rockets
4x I-16 SPB - Jabo - 2x FAB 250 kg bombs
all other EAF Squadrons

All of these aircraft takeoff from Borki (BL34) and head direct to Klin (BH29) on an approx. heading of 210 degrees
You must make fast progress and attack Klin as quickly as possible
The I-16 SPB must attack first because you are sitting ducks with the 2x250kg bombs attached
once your bombs are dropped switch to low alt fighters protecting the rocket armed attack planes
The rocket armed fighters are to attack every vehicle and gun on the airfield prioritising the flak guns
As soon as the jabos make the first attack the transports are to be called in



10x MiG-3 UD - Top Cover - Gun pods - 4x 102nd Sqn (w/gunpods) + 6x JG77 Squadron

Take off from Vnukovo airfield (BL21) and head north to sector BK29 and hold 10-20kms east of Klin airfield
Your mission is to arrive after the dogfight has started and quickly dominate the fight from above when called in
Your holding position will be between Klin which is the mission target and Dmitrov which is the forming area for our transport planes
At mission end these Migs are to land at Moscow West airfield which is a single asphalt runway west of Moscow



2x Pe-2 - 2xFAB500 + 60% fuel - Attack bridge 64 sector AX20 - AI

Take off from Chkalovskaya (BQ24) and attack rail bridge #64 located in sector AX20
Take care as road and rail bridges are next to each other, both bridges run east to west but the rail bridge is the south bridge
When bombing a bridge you must aim for the ramps that lead up to the bridge
If your bombs hit the bridge directly they will pass through it without damage



2xSB-2 - 2xFAB500 + 70% fuel - Attack bridge 49 sector BC3 - FRA

Take off from Lipitsy (BM13) attack rail bridge 49 sector BC3 - bridge is east-west in the town of Kozelsk
You must hit the ramps of the bridge as your bombs will pass straight through the main bridge and cause no damage
