Rudder not working properly after upgrade version 1.2.8.27203.421
Flight model for F-15 and P-51 seems both wrong.
1 ### Seems like rudder input creates excessive yaw without response on flight path. On full rudder it yaws 10+ deg, but flight path/heading stays same - simply impossible. This is the same as if applying full elevator, airplane would pitch up 10deg, but would still fly straight - not the case.
2 ### Yaw, without major heading change is very difficult to do, unless its sidewind, or flying with 90deg roll, and maintaining altitude with the engine power.
3 ### right now for the same reason applying rudder left/right creates airplane wobbly effect, once rudder released, it still wobbles. But where is this reversal force coming from??? It has to stop right there, ignore the gyroscopic effect, this is not that issue.
4 ### Same problem with pitch, disable all CAS augmentation/stabilizer modes, apply full elevator full back. Once airplane nose up high, release elevator, what force there is to reverse the nose path?
Answer would be if center of gravity is highly forward, but is it really correct because feels exaggerated?
5 ### very unstable flight while in inverted flight, seems airplane wants to roll (or center of gravity somewhere above the top)
Unstable would be at normal flight, very high AOA, less than 100kn, when tail fins are obstructed from direct incoming air. Definitely not the case during inverted flight, when tail fins getting full air stream.
Rudder: Incoming air on rotated/yawed fuselage will push entire airplane's flight path sideways (heading change and bit of banking).
Elevator: Same principle elevator works, air pushes tail up/down, in return airplane pitches.
Test ###
1: at 300kn apply full rudder, apply ailerons to maintain level wings (no roll). Nose points to new direction, but heading of a flight path not following.
2: at 400kn, full rudder, roll 90 deg, should be able to maintain altitude, but not, its sinking
3. same reason F-15 spin recovery not possible, since rudder not effective
4. P-51 would be more natural, get yaw applying full rudder, how can 30deg rotated fuselage (side slip) with level wings, fly straight for indefinite time. Where is rotation rate for rudder only?
