Strategic overview
In the previous mission, we have captured 5 new bases in the Buna area and have successfully destroyed the three coastal batteries defending the Buna landing area. The only things that are defending Buna currently is the Sub and AAA.
The next phase of the offensive is about to begin, we will be sending in our naval assets (2 destroyers and PT boat) to bombard the Buna coast line.
In addition, we will ground attack the jap infantry forces stuck in the Kokoda trail from the air and air drop forces in their rear and drop propaganda on them
We need to takeout the C-47s we brought into POP3 in the last missions - so that we can use them again. This will need Human pilots since they are VERY close to the enemy positions.
We are saving our bombers for the night mission coming up
We will also continue to search for more merchant ships coming into the map from the north east and recon Vivigani and investigate the unknown contact between goodenough and ferguson islands.
missions will be on the following lines (not final).
